2016 Pierre de Lune
The 2016 Pierre de Lune is pure Merlot picked at just 11 hectoliters per hectare. It has a dense, slightly opaque bouquet that feels a little generic. The palate is sweet and raisin-like on the entry, a little heady with plenty of creme de cassis mixed with vanilla on the finish. Not bad, although I cannot find much personality here.
